MemeFeed

Terms of Service

Last updated 19 July 2026

The short version

You must be 18 or older. Credits are prepaid, non-refundable, and never expire; if a generation fails, the credit comes back automatically. Memes you post are public; the prompts that made them stay private to you. No sexual, hateful, or violent content, and nothing targeting real people. We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. Questions: support@memefeed.app.

1. Who we are, and your agreement with us

MemeFeed is operated by Sachin MS, a sole proprietorship based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India (“MemeFeed”, “we”, “us”). These terms are a contract between you and us for the service at memefeed.app. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use MemeFeed.

You must be 18 or older to use MemeFeed, and the date of birth you provide at registration must be accurate. We do not offer the service to minors, and we close accounts we believe belong to them (see section 8 of the Privacy Policy).

2. The service

MemeFeed lets you type a prompt, generates a meme image from it using an AI model, and lets you caption the result and post it to a public feed. You can also browse the feed, like posts, comment, and report content. Memes are created through this flow — the service has no image-upload feature, and posting images that were not generated by the service is prohibited.

Most generation runs on our own GPU hardware; for users who have purchased credits it may overflow to a third-party service, as described in section 3 of the Privacy Policy.

We are a small operation and the product will change. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google or with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Keep your account to yourself — do not share, sell, or transfer it.

We may suspend your account if you violate these terms (see section 7). If your account has been suspended and you believe that was a mistake, email support@memefeed.app and we will look into it. We do not promise a formal appeals process.

4. Credits and payments

Generating a meme costs 1 credit. New accounts receive a free grant of credits at signup (currently 30). Additional credits are sold in packs:

PackCreditsPrice
Sachet25₹29
Starter100₹99
Creator500₹399
Legend2,000₹1299

Prices are in Indian Rupees and payment is processed by Razorpay — it is the only payment method we support. Prices may change; changes apply only to future purchases and we will show the current price before you pay.

First-purchase bonus: your first-ever credit purchase of the Starter pack grants double credits (200 instead of 100). One bonus per account. We may offer, change, or end promotional credit grants — including the daily claim — at any time; promotional credits behave like any other credits.

Credits are a prepaid licence to use the generation feature, not money or property. They are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no cash value. Credits do not expire.

If a generation fails, the credit is returned to your balance automatically — you never pay for a meme you did not get. Beyond that, purchases are final: we do not offer money refunds, except where the law requires us to. If a payment goes wrong — you were charged but did not receive credits, or were charged twice — email support@memefeed.app and we will fix it. Details are in our Cancellations & Refunds policy.

5. Your content and licence

You retain whatever rights you hold in the prompts, captions, and comments you write. So that we can run the service, you grant MemeFeed a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the service. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for the private retention of removed content described in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.

An honest note on AI images: in many jurisdictions, images generated by an AI model may have limited or no copyright protection. We make no promise that you own the memes you generate or that you can stop others from using them.

Prompts stay private. Posting a meme publishes the image and caption, not the prompt that produced it. Prompts remain visible to you, and to our moderators when a post is reported, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the content you post. Make sure you have the right to post it and that it complies with section 6.

6. Acceptable use

Do not create or post content that includes:

  • Sexual content involving minors — zero tolerance. We block attempts we detect, terminate the account, and report the matter to the relevant authorities.
  • Sexually explicit content. The feed is non-sexual, full stop.
  • Hate speech, slurs, or harassment — including content promoting hateful ideologies.
  • Graphic violence or gore, or content that encourages self-harm or suicide.
  • Content targeting real people — defamation, impersonation, or abuse of someone’s likeness. Prompts naming well-known real people are rejected automatically.

And do not:

  • attempt to bypass moderation, or evade the generation rate limits (currently 3 per minute and 30 per hour per account);
  • scrape the service or access it with bots or other automated tools;
  • resell credits or accounts;
  • reverse engineer the service or probe it for vulnerabilities, except as the law permits;
  • use the service for anything unlawful.

7. Moderation and enforcement

Prompts, captions, and comments are checked automatically against a blocklist before they are accepted, and generated images are checked by an automated classifier before publication — flagged images are withheld from the public feed, and where the check cannot run we rely on user reports. When someone reports a post or comment, a human administrator reviews it.

If content violates these terms, we may remove it, withhold it from the feed, or suspend the author’s account — without prior notice where the violation is serious. Removed or withheld content may be retained privately so we can respond to disputes and legal requests, as described in section 5 of the Privacy Policy; it is never publicly served.

8. Copyright and other complaints

If you believe content on MemeFeed infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to dmca@memefeed.app including:

  1. identification of the work you say is infringed;
  2. the URL of the infringing content on MemeFeed;
  3. your name and contact information;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, their agent, or the law;
  5. your physical or electronic signature.

We will remove infringing content and may suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe. For any other abuse — harassment, impersonation, threats — email abuse@memefeed.app.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

AI output is unpredictable. Despite our safeguards, generated images may be inaccurate, low-quality, or offensive. We do not review every image before you see it, and we are not responsible for what the model produces from your prompt.

We run generation primarily on our own hardware, so capacity is limited: your generation may queue, take longer than expected, or fail. When it fails, your credit is refunded automatically (section 4). We do not warrant that the service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of the service is capped at the greater of ₹1,000 or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Indian law.

11. Termination

You can stop using MemeFeed at any time, and you can have your account and content deleted as described in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. Credits have no cash value and are not paid out when an account is terminated for breach.

Sections 5 (licence, for content that remains on the service), 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing law and grievances

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any law that gives you the right to sue elsewhere.

In line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, our Grievance Officer is Sachin MS, reachable at legal@memefeed.app. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours, act on requests to remove content within 72 hours, and resolve all complaints within 15 days.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top, and for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
